They take the lead in troubleshooting network problems and related emergencies, and whenever appropriate, they also recommend upgrades of networks, software database applications, servers, and workstations. In larger organizations, Computer Network Engineers usually work as part of a team, but in smaller companies, they usually work as a one-man section.
A Bachelor’s Degree in related field or higher is usually required to be considered in this job. In lieu of university qualification, sometimes, minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience, and vendor certification may suffice. On the average, a Computer Network Engineer in Australia is earning $70,000 base per annum. Starting pay is approximately $50,000 up to $100,000 base per annum, depending on years of experience and skills. Computer Network Engineer’s career path usually include IT Architect, IT Manager, or Project Manager roles.

Essentials:
